Brief

Elsey & Elsey Dental Clinic is a specialist orthodontic practice that also offers dental implants, cosmetic treatments and general dentistry.

Following a Lunch & Learn training session with the principals and practice team, Smile Marketing was commissioned to research the local dental market and develop a strategy that would deliver a constant flow of adult orthodontic patients as well as increase the number of private children’s orthodontic cases.

An integral part of our brief was to consolidate and increase practice income from the other treatments on offer as well as launch the practice online.

Solution

After analysing the treatment mix and the opportunities for the practice, a sustainable marketing plan was created to include a detailed monthly schedule incorporating key actions, roles, responsibilities and milestones, with a strong focus on internal marketing and local community marketing.

Initiatives implemented included increased communication with the patient list and tactics to increase the take up of braces for the children that aren’t eligible for NHS braces, if they don’t fit the IOTN criteria.

As well as the successful launch of a new website (www.elseydental.co.uk) and support with the introduction of new and special offers, we introduced a practice newsletter for keeping in contact with patients between recall, referral cards to help patients recommend friends and targeted follow-up postcards for orthodontics enquirers.

For these projects we took care of everything, working closely with the Practice Manager, web development team, our designers & copywriters and the printer.

The practice has successfully increased its referrals from both patients and other practitioners.
