Countering a corporate threat

The Dental Care Partnership is a family-run practice in the heart of the West Midlands. When a national corporate brand purchased a private practice within their catchment area, they faced a new competitive challenge.

Being well-established, the clear line of attack was to shout about the benefits of an independent, locally-focused, friendly, family-owned practice.

Our tactical marketing emphasised the superior personal service that the practice was known for – a strategy that entailed local advertising & PR; exterior banners; a targeted door drop using socio-demographic profiling and online and social media support.

Perhaps the most compelling element of this approach, was the focus on a weekly open walk-in clinic. This move positioned the practice as approachable, encouraging patients to simply have a chat about how to improve their smile.
